To Bee or Not to Bee
Return or Exchange??.... What to do with those "iffy" holiday gifts?
Not all gifts have to be "re-gifters". Some gifts can be returned for store credit, store exchanges or even cash back. But know the store policy to avoid the hassles of haggling. Most boutiques that are not chain stores have their own unique set of rules for returning merchandise. They are a little stricter than the big chain stores, but understandably so.... they have a lot more to lose when someone returns an item after peak season. But the stores in North Hills and Cameron Village have bent some of their rules with Holiday returns. What they all have in common: exchange or store credits are given, no cash back for returned gifts. The differences come with how long you have from after Christmas to exchange your item. For Scout & Molly's you better hurry, deadline is January 2nd. For Uniquities, January 6th. But you can return to any of their three stores, North Hills, Cameron Village or Chapel Hill. Certain Things in North Hills and Cameron Village gives you till January 31st. If you don't know what the policy is, it may be best to call and ask asap. They all want a gift tag or receipt brought in with the returns to help expedite the transaction. So come prepared and thanks for supporting the "mom and pops". They are what makes shopping in the Triangle unique and sets us apart from Anywhere, USA.

TheBeltlineBuzz items are selected by our editors.
No one can pay to be featured on TheBeltlineBuzz. That's what advertising is for, and it's always labeled as such. Selling ourselves (literally) would destroy the legitimacy, integrity, and fun of TheBeltlineBuzz. Plus, we'd never earn your trust that way. So we'll never make a dime off your meal at a restaurant nor a penny from the sale of the latest accessory we told you about.
That said, on occasion, we will send out "Dedicated" e-mails on behalf of sponsors. You'll recognize them from the subject line: "TheBeltlineBuzz Dedicated E-mail." Yes, these are paid for. And, no, we would never sell our subscriber list to anyone. Not for any amount of money.
