Minty Fresh
Blue Martini fr The MintWhen it opened last year on Fayetteville Street, The Mint offered high-end ambiance, service, and food. The restaurant - with new chef Eric Foster -is enhancing the experience by giving its customers even more value ... code word for lower prices.  This completes the ambiance and makes The Mint a must see (or revisit) destination.   Introduced is a three-course dinner option for $30 and a small plate menu that won't break the bank (but allow for experimentation).  Chef Foster is renowned for being meticulous, with nothing coming from the kitchen short of excellence.  For those with ambitious tastes, The Mint will not disappoint. The dessert menu is decadent and the wine list extensive.  For all you night owls, there is also a late evening menu. The lunch fare is equally tempting and priced at only $9 (or 3 course for $18).  It's now food for the palate and the wallet - evolution worth the wait and minty fresh!

Azurelise Chocolate Truffles

Stick with your two-buck Chuck and put your energy towardChocolate Truffles something really worthwhile.  Like the perfect chocolate truffle.  Well, thank the chocolate gods because Raleigh has a truffle maker extraordinaire ... Reginald O. Savage of Azurelise Chocolate Truffles.  This one man chocolate shop will be featured on the Food Network's "Road Tasted With The Neelys" on February 15. So what's so unique about these Truffles?  One bite and you'll think you won the lottery. Scarce? ... right now you only have two ways to obtain .... A trip to A Southern Season in Chapel Hill, or go online at www.azurelise.com (919-946-5063) to place an order.  Double Trouble ... Custom select by the piece and choose among a variety of dark and milk chocolates including "Chocolate Julep Truffle (featuring Woodford Reserve Bourbon)".  Azurelise ships online orders or customers can pick them up at Azurelise Chocolate Shop, 208 North Harrington Street Raleigh.   Sorry, no walk-in sales as the truffles are made to order.  Bee-ware, This is no trifling matter ... One bite and you'll be on a sugar high for days. And that sure beats a nasty hangover.

No one can pay to be featured on TheBeltlineBuzz. That's what advertising is for, and it's always labeled as such. Selling ourselves (literally) would destroy the legitimacy, integrity, and fun of TheBeltlineBuzz. Plus, we'd never earn your trust that way. So we'll never make a dime off your meal at a restaurant nor a penny from the sale of the latest accessory we told you about.
That said, on occasion, we will send out "Dedicated" e-mails on behalf of sponsors. You'll recognize them from the subject line: "TheBeltlineBuzz Dedicated E-mail." Yes, these are paid for.  And, no, we would never sell our subscriber list to anyone. Not for any amount of money.
We hope that you continue to enjoy your BeltlineBuzz. We look forward to delivering it.
